Located in the Chamoli district of the Garhwal region, Auli welcomes everyone with snow peaks touching the sky and dense green trees like deodar and oak all around. For a person who exhausts himself with uneven roads and tourist freight to reach Auli, he cannot ask for anything better. Auli is better known as one of the most thrilling skiing spots in India. With lush green land and forests all around, you can see some of the famous peaks including Nanda Devi, Chaukambha, Mana, and more.

Being located at an altitude of altitude of around 3000 meters, Auli provides some of the best skiing spots in the world. Garhwal Mandal Vikas Nagam (GMVN) is one of the finest resorts to enjoy skiing and get the training on the same.  There you can find an artificial lake, which is meant for preparing snow for skiing. However, Auli offers more than what is just written and people know about it. To explore more about Auli and the nature, you must try a trek to the Golden Oak forest. There are many uniqueness about the forest that will compel you to walk all along it. With murmuring leaves under your feet, you can find varieties of lilies and daisies. While trekking through the hills, you can find temples and other halting spots.

Auli is well connected by roads; however, it can be reached via air and train as well. The Airport nearest to Auli is the Jolly Grant Airport, which is situated at a distance of 286 kilometres. The closest railway station is Rishikesh at a distance of 264 kilometres. 

Travelling to Auli from Delhi is very easy, as you can take any bus going to Auli from the ISBT-Kashmiri gate. The total travelling distance is around 495 kilometres.
